My fave song with him on vocals. With respect to the other classics, he showed out on every aspect of singing this song. There’s a reason why he’s usually topping everyone of all music genre’s top singers of all time lists. An undisputed 1 of 1.
Remembering David Ruffin on his birthday (January 18, 1941 – June 1, 1991)💙🕊 🗣I wish it would rain.... This song. His vocals. Whew!

Looks like Bole Road. Was out there last February and the natives are embracing the development with an open mind. SIDE NOTE: while I was there, I spotted many people wearing Yankees hats. But downtown AA is evolving and is starting to resemble Cape Town in South Africa.
Addis Ababa in Ethiopia 🇪🇹 - YES, this is Africa! The speed at which this city is developing is unbelievable.

The prototype flagship artist. 1 of 1. A biopic or documentary of LL should be in the future. ALSO: delivered one of the greatest diss records of all time that didn’t contain a single curse word, a feat that will likely never happen again.
Happy birthday to LL Cool J, born on this day in 1968! The Bay Shore, Long Island-raised hip-hop pioneer who signed to Def Jam at 16, dropped landmark debut Radio, and built a decades-long empire as the ultimate new-school MC.

Hip Hop’s first “super producer” Larry Smith. Producing for Run DMC, Whodini, the Fat Boys and Kurtis Blow and crafting them their own separate sounds is a testament to his creativity.
Larry Smith is never mentioned when people make an all time greatest producer list... Kurtis Blow-The Breaks(also co wrote it), Hard Times, Christmas Rappin Run DMC- It's Like That, Sucker MCs, King Of Rock,You Talk Too Much Whodini-Friends, 5 Minutes Of Funk, Freaks Come Out At

Whodini was unique in that they had their own sound, their own branding, their own presentation. They made what is now branded as contemporary hip hop/urban music. This is why most of their music still fit in with today’s music. #onelove

I think about MC Trouble & Damian Dame often, and what could’ve been if not for tragedy between all of them. Trouble looked+sounded like a star from Day 1, and Damian Dame had the artistry in the bag from Day 1.
@MUSICANDBUILDS Michael Jackson - Remember The Time MC Trouble - Make U Mine Keisha Jackson - Mama Told Me Damian Dame - Exclusivity I Want Her - Keith Sweat Is It Good To You - Heavy D Rub U The Right Way (remix) Johnny Gill Don't Want To Fall In Love - Jane Child ..these r some of my faves 🥰

Just don’t see this getting past regulatory approval, though stranger things have happened (Comcast/NBC). This is bad for tv projects+character actors, who can jump between several existing tv projects, but Netflix is notorious for abandoning most tv projects within 1-2 seasons.
New details on Netflix’s acquisition of Warner Bros: • Claim they will continue theatrical releases for films • Netflix will keep HBO Max around while also periodically adding WB/HBO content to Netflix • Deal will not close until Q3 2026 after Warner Bros has split its

Ok cool, the list is the list, but Dray is a smart player who plays to the needs of his team and that’s why he has helped that team achieve long term success both off and on the court.
Kenyon Martin names power forwards better than Draymond Green: Giannis Antetokounmpo Anthony Davis Dirk Nowitzki Charles Barkley Kevin Garnett Tim Duncan Dennis Rodman Karl Malone Chris Webber Amar’e Stoudemire Chris Bosh Rasheed Wallace Pau Gasol Elton Brand Antawn Jamison

Hip hop’s first bonafide consistent hit maker and influential style guide/mentor to many, including Biggie (who idolized Hev as a fellow Jamaican). Plus anyone who knew Hev can say he was a jokester and good spirit. His mentorship in particular is sorely missed.

Despite being a true blue Yankee fan, always had the utmost respect for Davey Johnson aka “the skipper”, who had NYC on fire in the mid-late 80’s with those Mets teams and managed a TON of egos in the same clubhouse with respect and dignity. Respect & tip of the cap.
Prior to today's game, we held a moment of silence to remember former New York Mets Manager Davey Johnson. Johnson won two World Series as player during his 13-year big league career. We send our deepest to condolences to his loved ones 💙

My ADT experience since upgrading to ADT+ has been a complete nightmare - triple billed, CSR refuses to cancel duplicate acct, sensors abruptly stopped working & tch sprt ridiculed me for not being available for call troubleshoot because I’m at work. Nightmare nightmare nightmare

The only markets that make realistic sense are SLC, PDX and NSH. A PDX team avoids moving ARZ or COL to the AL.
MLB commissioner Rob Manfred says expansion could spark major changes: • Geographic realignment to ease travel • A more appealing postseason format for partners like ESPN • New opportunities in untapped markets

Looks around for @Lizzs_Lockeroom to put a bow on this one…..
I dont know if it smart to play LeBron and Luka the entire second half after only having one day of rest between Games 3 and 4. When we needed LeBron to take over in the fourth quarter he couldn’t - he scored 0 points in the fourth.

I remember this day. He did this for almost 45 minutes. This was nearly as wild as when the late DJ Kay Slay ran back Nas/Money Ray/Sharp “My Enemy Tomorrow” off the Felon Magazine Soundtrack for almost 30 minutes with gunshot effects every 7-8 seconds.
When Otis dropped, Funk Flex was so hyped he did like 60 spinbacks and then said the funniest thing anyone has ever said on the radio
