This PCA study committee is going to be more like a PCA "buddy committee" than anything else. The PCA has been known to harbor a "good ol' boy" mentality when it comes to investigating these kinds of issues.
A “study committee” is something that seeks to know something else—to cut it open and expose it for examination. But are the knowers willing to be known?. I wonder about the PCA CN study committee and what its report will reveal about the committee itself. And how it is.

God can eternally decree evil/deception without becoming an evil deceiver, just like He can eternally decree the existence of rocks without becoming a rock. This is one of the main points behind creation out of nothing, and why the Church has universally confessed it.
The Deity of Deception (DoD) argument against EDD‑Calvinism has landed so hard that Calvinists aren’t even trying to refute it anymore. They’ve abandoned the argument itself--and all they can say now is, “But what about Molinism?”. I don’t care about Molinism right now. I’m.

CN study committee, or a PCA “good buddy” committee? I think we all know how this is gonna turn out. PSA: “The PCA has concluded that CN is not only bad for this nation, but it’s also bad for the Church, and it’s also bad fo yo health. Is there a diet version of CN somewhere?”.

This is why the WCF says that we are to believe all things either directly/explicitly taught in the Scriptures, or that are "deduced by good and necessary consequence from the Scriptures.". Protesting Catholicism wins again!.
If the Bible said, “All men are mortal”….And the Bible also said, “Socrates is a man”…. Would you really need a third verse that says, “Socrates is mortal”?. Or would you just… get it?. That’s what I think every time someone demands “Chapter and verse?” for an idea that

Homophobia is not pathetic, but it is sympathetic to the fact that homoeschatology is going nowhere, and will eventually kill itself off over time = sexual nihilism. Heteroeschatology on the other hand is where history is going --> "one-flesh union" between Christ and His Bride.

“To press the point: Reformed churches reacted to FV in the way they did because they’re in the grip of Baptistic Evangelicalism. That quintessentially American brand of Christianity is the target, usually hidden, of most of my polemics here.”.
Federal Vision is an Augustinian refinement of Reformed sacramental theology, and in that regard a friendly amendment and enhancement. It’s a catholic revision, an attempt to incorporate insights and ways of speaking from other traditions – from the best of medieval sacramental

The plain/literal reading of the text actually says "thousands years." Both the numerical adjective and the noun are in the plural in the Greek. And there is no indefinite article before the numerical adjective, either. E.g., Rev 20:2d says, "and bound him thousands years.".

Definitely not “ex opere operato” (by the work working), just like baptism in the newest covenant doesn’t regenerate someone ex opere operato. But if God the Spirit chose to regenerate someone through circumcision, then He could do so. Just like He can do so now through baptism.

Because a bunch of wannabe scientists in holy-white lab coats told this guy that giant random explosions will eventually cause logic, rationality, sentient beings, love, hate, morality, etc. — and he thinks belief in “ancient desert gods” sounds crazy?!.
🤣 because your ancient desert god conjuring humans from mud with a magic breath is clearly the more rational origin story. Big Bang models are peer-reviewed. Your myth? Ghostwritten by goat herders. 🚮.

Indeed. Christians must learn to reject any notion that Israel as a nation won't one day get saved and be discipled by the Church. Christian nationalism entails that not only will the U.S. become Christian again, but so will Israel. Christian nationalism is for every nation.
There is one key deception Christians in America must learn to identify and reject. Until then, America will be a slave of Israel.

And how exactly should the Church, not mention pastoral care, be handled in this situation? Is this even a legit marriage?. What say ye?.
I honestly find Abigail and Brittany Hensel fascinating and a testament to human adaptability. I'm really glad they are leading happy lives with Abigail getting married

Not crazy, just wrong. Paul himself declared that schism is justified in certain circumstances: “No doubt there has to be schisms among you to show which of you has God’s approval.”. And Baillie the divine should take a backseat to Paul the more divine!.
According to Scottish Westminster divine Robert Baillie, nothing justifies voluntary schism from the church, even HERESY or blasphemy of the eucharist. Am I so crazy for simply agreeing with him?.

Now by “we,” I’m assuming you only mean those in your church who have attained to a level of theological and pistic comprehension, such that they can recite the Creed with a level of understanding sufficient enough to recite it without being charged with hypocrisy, right?.
