I'm trying to deactivate my account, but for some reason there appears to be multiple glitches which apparently prevent me from so doing. In any case I'm out of here. From now on, any activity on this account has nothing to do with me. I'm done.

Those who are currently apoplectic about Emily Thornberry & Sadiq Khan receiving honours were incredibly quiet when the Tories were making knights & dames of (where to start)…Jacob Rees-Mogg, Andrea Jenkyns, Oliver Dowden, Thérèse Coffey, Michael Fabricant, Priti Patel…

For those of you moaning that Sadiq Khan has been given an honour. What have you got to say about these two? Son of a KGB spy and whatever the fuck she did?

Atrocious failed Tory and failed human being Therese Coffey is now a dame - an elevated superior being. Brits in unison: "OH NO SHE'S NOT!"

A reminder that Sadiq Khan won three elections in a row by large majorities against Conservative opponents, one of whom, Shaun Bailey, was then given a seat in the House of Lords for life. Funnily enough I don't remember the Daily Mail describing that as a "reward for failure"

You’re deep down a rabbit hole on this one. Brexit was not botched by the Remain elite, but by the rival Brexit elite which won but didn’t have a clue what to do with it and fought among themselves. Farage was a key spoiler, no positive plan either

Starmer fears ‘betraying Brexit’. Yet with polls showing a majority for moving closer to Europe, can the progressive majority find its voice?

In Tory years HMRC failed to collect around £500bn in tax. Others says £1,400bn. £570bn held by UK residents in financial accounts in tax havens. Tax dodged. Companies dodge taxes by profit shifting to low/no tax havens. No HMRC estimates. Govts don't upset corporations/rich.

Magnificent drone footage captures today's human chain of unity in Georgia. On day 31 of continuous resistance, Georgians stand strong against the regime, demonstrating unwavering determination for a European future. Our fight for freedom continues.

The woes of the govt are overdone. Their biggest problem is a consistent tendency to favour tactics over strategy. And failing to change the law to protect British democracy from Musk's money, is the worst example of this yet. My piece for @theipaper.

Knowing many of the protagonists who promoted it on a wing and a prayer basing their entire project on an unshakeable belief in British exceptionalism it's hardly surprising Brexit has failed as I always predicted it would.
