Yesterday, we celebrated the achievements of the Kuwaiti-Polish Archeological Mission. It was a privilege to award the Bene Merito honorary distinction 🇵🇱 to Dr. @AgPienkowska—an accomplished @PCMA_UW archeologist who has been ‘breaking the soil’ of Kuwait 🇰🇼 for many years.

A poignant visit to the Al-Qurain Martyrs Museum—a monument preserving the memory of resistance to the August 1990 invasion. Poland was part of the international coalition that liberated Kuwait 🇰🇼 months later. It was touching to see the museum thank you board with a 🇵🇱 flag.
