We had a brilliant event last week. Launching a new blueprint for councils to improve street access - tackling pavement parking, street works and waste collection. Thank you to @Rebecca_SPaul for hosting us, our funders @NCAT_UK, all of our panellists and to all who joined us.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Parliament on Tuesday evening for the launch of our new report, a Street Transformation: Execution Plan (STEP), funded by the @NCAT_UK. We were delighted to welcome such a full room and to hear meaningful discussion on how we can make our

God forbid someone doesn’t want to retire at 45 years old. Rishi could easily stop now. He has the money to retire, and he’s already been the PM at such a young age. Instead, he’s doing meaningful work, including with the charity he has set up. He should be praised for it.

I've never known GREED like that of @RishiSunak and his wife. They are extremely EXTREMELY wealthy and the man keeps taking job after job like he can't make ends meet and is struggling to meet mortgage payments! How about giving this job to someone DESPERATELY wants/needs it?

Unfortunately The i Paper is making several reporters redundant today, and my role is one of them. I'm very proud of the work I've published over the last three years, and I'm looking forward to continuing my reporting freelance. Want to chat? Drop me an email, text or DM.

Found this from @reigatebanstead - 8 years ago now! Talking to young people in the borough about getting involved in politics. Always the best feeling when more people gain the confidence to put themselves forward.

Fantastic Saturday @RBKC speaking to people about becoming a councillor. Really proud to be part of a coalition of organisations, all determined to improve access to democracy for under-represented groups. A special thanks to both the @LGAcomms and @ElectHer_UK for leading.

This story is absolutely heartbreaking, and it shows - not just the state of our NHS right now, but how much more work we have to do to improve our disability awareness. Rest in peace to Adrian. Absolutely tragic story that should never have been told. https://t.co/1ggrp9YcS1

There were ISIS flags on some of these marches, and the police, instead of providing protection, have told some Jewish people that they should cover up their Star of Davids. Now the media are all shocked about antisemitism? #BBCLauraK

This morning as I sat in a London synagogue for Yom Kippur services, a friend sitting next to me said “I reckon Jews have about 10 years left in this country.” I said I disagreed, and that it’s not as bad as it seems. About 20 minutes later, the service was suddenly

Manchester, England - this monster just murdered two Jews walking into synagogue on Yom Kippur and put two more in the hospital. This is what globalize the intifada looks like.

Heartbreaking what has happened today. With the blatant antisemitism that has swept the West, I am sorry to say that so many of us saw this coming. Praying for those who lost their lives, all affected and Jewish communities across the UK. Praying that this is a turning point.

On a personal level I would rather not hear the crocodiles tears from MPs who glamorised and cheered on the hate marches, which (while we know contained some well meaning elements) were saturated with extremism I find their tweets insulting

I studied primatology by chance, and fell in love with it. Before I fell into politics, I was on course to try and follow in her footsteps. Jane was an absolute heroine of mine and she did so much to protect our natural world. May she rest in peace after her lifetime of service.

Absolutely ridiculous how often this still goes on by event organisers. In 2025! IMO the other panellists should have all moved onto the floor. Not a good look for Andy Burnham, in particular.

On a side note, @uklabour should be ashamed it charges £2000 for a fringe event where disabled panellists are barred from the platform. We moved to be closer to @StePurse but I was appalled he was treated like this. I apologise on behalf of @DailyMirror and expect that in future
