Miserable weather but great conversations with residents today. Got into a few blocks we haven’t visited in a while, residents thanks us for projects we’ve worked on, incl pedestrian safety at Corner Ways Surgery - the junction redesign currently underway by council highways.

Your Lib Dem Councillors and team are out all year round. We hit a big milestone in Beckenham Town & Copers Cope: 3,000 doors knocked on so far this year. Talking to residents on the doorstep is the best way to stay focused on the issues that matter most to local people. 💛

Steven and I attended and excellent Safer Neighbourhood Police meeting last night — great update on Project ADDER (Addiction, Diversion, Disruption, Enforcement & Recovery), new local policing priorities agreed, and I briefed on key Council public protection work.

🚧 Bromley Rd closed (Manor Rd ↔ Bevington Rd) after SGN found a gas leak and a water leak. Thames Water now repairing too. Likely closed until 19 Nov. Manor Rd also has temporary lights for separate Mua Gas works until 21 Nov.
