We agree with @LiuNewYork & @JoAnneSimonBK52. @GovKathyHochul & the NYS Legislature should make key changes to the Foundation Aid formula, including adding a weight for students who are homeless and updating the Regional Cost Index from 2006!

Students experiencing homelessness face major barriers, yet NYS’s funding formula allocates no additional dollars to meet their needs. We’re urging @GovKathyHochul @NYSenate @NYSA_Majority to add a weight to Foundation Aid for these students this year.
