Yes, it was a fun atmosphere. Yes, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience in front of a record-setting MLB crowd (91,032 paid) at @ItsBristolBaby. But the Reds couldn't take advantage of an awesome opportunity on a national stage.

With over 85K tickets sold, tonight's Speedway Classic is due to set MLB's attendance record, shattering the old mark of 86,563 set on Sept. 12, 1954, at Cleveland Municipal Stadium (Indians-Yankees). The Reds are home team in final game of a 3-game series and 9-game homestand.
