Major milestone in the Logan Square reconstruction project! 🚧The new two-way traffic pattern goes into effect next week. This update will enhance pedestrian access to the Square & improve traffic flow. 🚸 More here:

The updated pattern adds safer pedestrian crossings, improves traffic flow and allows for parts of the square to more easily close for community events, officials said.

Today marks the start of construction on the full rehabilitation of the Lake Street Bridge - one of Chicago’s most complex and iconic double-deck bascule bridges. The project will modernize the 109-year-old structure while preserving its historic character.⬇️
