On average 12,000 people a day become unpaid carers, we want to halve the time it takes them to recognise themselves as carers. #ThisCountsAsCare

Promise 2 in action this afternoon with our @NLCareGroup Community colleagues. A little twinge of Deja Vu but fab to hear about Carer Champions, staff training, access to resources and particularly effective identification, follow up and ongoing support for unpaid carers 👏👏

Last weeks @rdash_nhs vlog has probably been the most thought provoking one for a while. Things are pretty tough ATM but not changing is simply not an option! Thank you @TobyLewis_NHS for your honesty and openness and providing a very clear rationale for the change ahead 🌅
