Back of the napkin estimates: At @RidePSTA’s bus costs of $134 per hour, that would make the trip cost $67 to $134 to run one way. At $10 per passenger, you’d only need 7 to 14 passengers to hop on each trip to break even.

Pretty much this yeah... Stocks are nothing but a line item on a website. A home is something else entirely.
One of the most misleading charts in finance. First: This ignores cash flow. Real estate makes a bigger portion of income from cash flow than stocks. This is like comparing the S&P 500 to a dividend fund without counting dividends in the return. Second: this ignores leverage.
