@li_dawei98 I think it works exactly as it was originally designed to - to be advantageous for a small % of rich landowners whilst appeasing and/or subjugating everyone else.

@ChefMiew @li_dawei98 It's more like the literal price of corporate lobbying. What the article leaves out is that major US car companies were threatened by rail, and they have lobbied and manipulated the gov to sabotage that industry from getting a fair chance. 😑
