The fact that China was able to achieve a share in global manufacturing on par with the US during WW2, wherein every other industrial power was devastated by cataclysmic war, is another testament to the unparalleled success of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.
We haven't seen anything like this since the US commanded around half of the World's manufacturing capacity after the end of WW2. Except this time the erstwhile leading industrial nations chose to de-industrialize themselves.
