I'm struggling to find the words for the new horrors unfolding in Gaza. And frankly, I'm sick of the empty statements from so many governments, including our own. We need urgent action. That means widespread sanctions on Israel, including on trade and a full arms embargo.

I note that PM @Keir_Starmer has shared his condolences over Pope Francis’s passing praising him for pursuing a ‘fairer world’. If memory serves… The Pope repeatedly condemned Isreal’s strikes on Gaza as “cruel”. Starmer supported 🇮🇱’s seige tactics & continues to arm it.
