How can the USDA forget farmworkers on #LaborDay? As a farmer, I’m dismayed. Please join me in a salute to all farmworkers and others from planting, to harvesting, to delivering our crops to food on our tables.
This Labor Day, we honor the hardworking farmers, ranchers, food safety inspectors, foresters, and wildland firefighters who work tirelessly to put food on our tables and protect our resources and communities. Your hard work contributes to the prosperity of our nation.

When a friend recommends you visit the salt mine near Krakow, Poland you do it. St Kinga’s Chapel located 101 meters below ground. The crystals on the chandeliers are all made from salt extracted from the mine.
