Pilgrims Pride chicken plant fire (950 Wauhatchie Pike). Animal Fat storage tank caught on fire. No injuries. Green Shift companies & Special Ops responded. Call came in at 5:40 PM on 4/25/24.
6801 Shallowford Rd: 911 received multiple calls of a possible dumpster or car fire. Large column of smoke seen throughout the East Brainerd area. Firefighters found a pile of PVC equipment on fire. Call came in at 6:30 AM on 4/25/24. The fire is under investigation at this time.

Rescue training at the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway was a success. It was great experience for our firefighters. The exercise simulated an incline train getting struck on the tracks and first responders had to remove the passengers safely, both ambulatory and non-ambulatory.
