Here’s proof various anti-public education groups pushing @GovBillLee’s privatization agenda grabbing taxpayer dollars from public schools are highly coordinated— They applied jointly for a big award 👇🏽🤔 💰 FLASHBACK: Here’s one running away from us —> https://t.co/GWTqSk1msm

Great news from Supreme Court. It leaves in tact a lower court holding that charter schools are state actors and, thus, must comply with the US Constitution. This is devastating news for those who think states can authorize religious charter schools.

ACE is the last thing we need in Maury County Public Schools. We don't need a charter operator affiliated with Hillsdale College.

It's odd that RuCo Mayor Joe Carr, a long-time opponent of Common Core, invited Core-using Hillsdale to Rutherford - And that invitation will cost taxpayers $7 million a year: https://t.co/6zF78eTiCL

I find very little difference between most academic standards today. This is an excellent read.

Well said: “You can’t say you’re against Common Core, but for Core Knowledge,” said JC Bowman, Executive Director of Professional Educators of Tennessee. “They’re both ideologically from the same place. They’re very interconnected.”

We appreciate TN’s best edu-news outlet detailing the facts about the negative fiscal impact of charter schools. Unlike @ChalkbeatTN, the @TNEdReport isn’t funded by charter special interests and tells the truth about how these low-performing privately run schools drain tax $$$.
