Tennessee! We don’t need to be embarrassed by our Congressman. That’s why I’m launching a different kind of campaign–one that focuses more on making local headlines for the right reasons than national headlines for the wrong ones. Join us at https://t.co/b8hIFelZrz

Nice visit w the Columbia Academy student body to celebrate their canned food drive, an annual event that has been one of the many, if not among most impactful contributions CA has made to our community. I love this front row seat to all the things ‘good’ in our community.

Started the day high atop Nashville, ended the day down in the heart of Nolensville— with a lot of stops in between. Onward and upward!

Today I stopped by our Wastewater Treatment Plant to check the status of the renovation and expansion of the plant—our largest capital infrastructure investment in city history. This expansion, once complete, will service our community’s wastewater needs for decades to come.

The @columbiacentralhs NJROTC was well represented today at the Veterans Day Parade in Columbia. I had a chance to speak with some of them about their plans to serve our country after graduating high school. God Bless our Veterans and our future Veterans, too. 🇺🇸

Small town America. I love this place we call home. Where our community shows up and shows out. For our neighbors. For our small businesses, and for the spirit of the holiday(s) season.

Today, just 2 months since we launched, we’ve had 2500 people who have chipped in their hard earned dollars to our campaign—over 90% from folks right here in TN! I’m grateful to everyone getting involved in our campaign. We can win and bring our Main Street values to DC!

I remember watching 9/11 unfold while in my dorm room at UT. And, I remember how we came together and united as a country. Using this tragedy to sow political division isn't just repulsive--it's unbecoming of a congressman and un-American. We deserve better.

With over 700,000 Tennesseans set to lose SNAP benefits beginning tomorrow due to the federal government shutdown, forcing children and families to go hungry, do you support using some of Tennessee’s $2.2 billion dollar rainy day fund to bridge the gap in the interim? I do! 🙋♂️

Ogles’ budget has been devastating for Tennessee families, and this announcement of 700 lay-offs in Spring Hill is another direct hit. These workers deserve a congressman who will fight for THEM, not spend their time chasing national headlines and creating more chaos. (2/2)

The 5th congressional district is comprised of urban and rural voters, but we are united in the issues that matter. Today was a good example of that unity. Thank you Lewis County and the local Democratic Party. We’ll be back! —CM 2/2

Tennessee farmers are speaking up, and we must support them. Our state motto ‘Agriculture and Commerce’ is our motto for a reason. Agriculture is our most important industry. I stand w TN farmers who are concerned about the instability that Andy Ogles’ policies are creating.

We are staying alert and on top of this issue. Fortunately, no injuries are reported or expected, but safety precautions and protocols are in place. Expect traffic delays. Prayers for all clean up and safety efforts underway. https://t.co/iBUTtH5Qds

Pleased to welcome another candidate to this race. Hope he will join me in opposing Andy Ogles’ tariff taxes that are killing our middle TN farmers and making all our groceries more expensive. -CM
