The U.S. agricultural trade deficit is expected to reach a record $42.5 billion in FY2025, well above 2024 record. And looking at the deficit masks our dire situation. Our exports of refined carbohydrates (🌽, soy) are useless unless you're the Cargill-MacMillan or Tysons

I prefer to react to official documents versus news headlines so holding out. Admin is clearly all-in on tariffs for revenue. They desperately need to get these codified by Congress ASAP.

Need details. POTUS says "Japan will pay Reciprocal Tariffs to the United States of 15%". On its own, that should be interpreted to mean that the IEEPA-Reciprocal order that currently collects 10% on all imports from Japan will be amended (+5% for Japan on the Annex A.).
From President Trump: “We just completed a massive Deal with Japan, perhaps the largest Deal ever made. Japan will invest, at my direction, $550 Billion Dollars into the United States, which will receive 90% of the Profits. ”. 🇺🇸🇯🇵
