This has nothing to do with the ECHR. The system was broken by Tory failures and crony hotel contracts – not by refugees wanting safety.
The government has used ECHR against the people of Epping. Illegal migrants have more rights than the British people under Starmer.

Human rights law isn’t the issue. The system was overwhelmed by Tory failure to process claims and by handing hotel contracts to their mates – not by refugees. Refugees want the same safety you claim is at risk. Yes, a small number may do wrong – but far more British people do.

Leaving the Human Rights Act isn’t ‘taking back control’ — it’s handing politicians the scissors to cut up your rights. International human rights exist so no government can just… vote them away. Without that safety net, your freedoms depend on who’s in power next week.

Why is it people are complaining about asylum seekers coming to the uk because British people are in their view are being forgotten but when something like free school meals are offered to British children its a waste of money. .

The issue isn’t an asylum seeker scraping by on £50 a week. It’s the billionaire crying over a 1% wealth tax while packing their bags for Monaco instead of investing in the country they claim to love.
