As a weight training teacher, we Bench twice per week. It's huge for overall strength.
Why do players avoid the bench press like the plague? Its 3 fold. 1. They are embarrassed. or 2. It is too hard and takes a lot of effort. or 3. They believe the folks that say bench press is bad for baseball players. For the embarrassed players, everyone started weak.

This is perfect bracket size.
Sounds like the Bylaw Committee is suggesting 32-team brackets in 1A-7A classifications and 24-team brackets in the 8A classification. Committee noted there are concerns about facilities for these events though.
