Endlessly thankful for Con Law on days like these. Klare truly was on to something when he said that law is inherently political (not fully objective) . It would be intellectually dishonest to claim that the law is neutral and uninfluenced by social, moral & political ideas.

AI companies want to build Superintelligent AI. They admit they don’t know how to control it. Common sense says this is a bad idea. By default, we all lose our jobs. In the worst case we all die. Counter-arguments increasingly boil down to “It’s inevitable”. It’s not.

Mamdani didn't just beat Cuomo -- he also defeated the NY Post, the Wall Street Journal, Elon Musk, the New York Times, Dem establishment, Republicans, Donald Trump, real estate guys, Chuck Schumer, billionaires. That's impressive.
