What an incredible effort from the Lancers tonight. They battled for 44 minutes with top-seed Foothill but fall short 96-95 in triple OT. Carlsbad finishes the year 22-12 with a CIF title and the 2nd state playoff win in school history. Thank you to everyone who supported us!!.

The unsung hero of the Lancers this season has been Cole Murray. Against LCC, Cole had 8 points on 4/6 shooting, 8 rebounds, and 8 steals. Cole leads the team in rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and deflections! Having a quietly incredible year that deserves more recognition.

This Carlsbad team won a league title for the first time in 21 years, finished the regular season ranked #2 in San Diego, and won the first open division playoff game in school history. The team will be remembered amongst the best of all time for Lancers basketball.
