Thank you @DanJarvisMBE for inviting us to the Home Office. Thank you for listening to the voices of young people affected by terrorism. So important to know our Bee the Difference research has been useful and pleased to see the plans for the hub @LancasterUni @NatEmergTrust.
The Government has announced an official support hub for terror victims and survivors, where they can receive help and advice as they deal with the immediate and long-term aftermath of terrorist attacks.

A group of about 20 survivors of terror attacks met with @DanJarvisMBE today. He listened to each of us & set out an initial plan of action. I can’t set out the details yet but some really important progress that we have campaigned for for years is one step closer.

A great meeting. Some positive news at last. An honour to be part of it, with some incredible people, not least the amazing women from the Bee the Difference research project @NatEmergTrust @LancasterUni.
Survivors of terror attacks will be meeting with.@DanJarvisMBE later today to urge action on the #SurvivorsCharter - including a new national day of remembrance. The survivors charter was promised in 2019 - it’s time for action.

My baby, my youngest son is 18 today. Can’t believe it. I only have adult children now - how did that happen?? I’m so proud of him and I thank my lucky stars that we have got to watch him grow up to be an amazing young man.
