Bird flu doesn’t just affect birds—it disrupts farms, strains food systems, and raises costs for consumers. A new “electronic nose” detects airborne signs of disease in real time, giving farmers the ability to slow the spread and prevent outbreaks.

Pupils at St Mark’s (Westerhope) recently took on the Giant Domino Cereal Box Challenge, led by the school’s dedicated Mini Vinnies fundraising team. Pupils collected an incredible 270 cereal boxes, before donating every box to the West End Foodbank. 🔗 https://t.co/RhQUF9v72z

Looks like this is all the info we'll be getting on SEND today...local government financial settlement coming in early December (ish)
The Govt has announced that all SEND spending from 2028-29 will be absorbed within existing government budgets, though it has not specified how this will be achieved... @Samfr .bsky.social says, "it means a significant change to EHCP eligibility, or it's not remotely affordable"
