Woman's eyesight saved by cutting-edge test after mystery infection

Who is he? And more importantly, where did he end up after I sat in his seat on Wednesday morning?!.

I can’t name the airline or airport involved yet as there is the slight issue of getting the very expensive last minute replacement flight home refunded to deal with first, but as soon as I can share more I will because I need the internet’s help to find the person I travelled as.

I travelled internationally with a totally incorrect boarding pass and no one batted an eyelid.

My question is: How did I manage to not only get through security checks but actually ON to the plane with no ground crew noticing this glaring error.

Obviously I should have noticed this when the boarding pass was handed to me, but my mind was on the hectic schedule I had for the next few days.

It was not. The boarding pass did not have my name on it. It was the name of a man I have never met. The same name was on my baggage tag.

You can imagine my surprise. I was standing at the destination baggage claim at this point. I dutifully sent a photo of my boarding pass and expected the mix up to be resolved quickly.

On Wednesday 23rd April I flew abroad to film for a documentary. After arriving I received an email to say my return flight for Friday had been cancelled. On querying this with my travel team I was informed it had been cancelled due to me being a “no show” for the outbound leg.
