I would have liked to not have experienced terrorisation in my home, but I did - and now, mostly I'm fine, but sometimes, if someone opens a car door unexpectedly, just as I'm walking past it, I think I'm about to die. Hmmm.

Thing is, I probably wouldn't really want to move, had my home not become terrifying to me. But it has. My main criteria for where to move to is somewhere with like zero crime. But also, I don't want to be insanely isolated. And my budget isn't huge. There we have it.

I would quite like to move at some point, but I don't know where I want to move to. Suggestions in a hat, pls.

It beggars belief that this is real, but it is real. Harrowing.

A prohibition on contact between unrelated women and men meant many women’s wounds went untended and some were left trapped under rubble after a deadly earthquake, witnesses said.

Much as I would love to see Radiohead live again, I'm sure it will cost a millionty pounds and probably be full of really tall people (I tell myself).

Got Penda's Fen playing in the background while I work today - cor I love a weird little British film! 70s especially.

But overall, the trailer makes me think of that thing " everyone is beautiful and no-one is horny", it's all muscles and boobs and absolutely no heat. Well, it is at least of its time - I think it will be interesting for historians to analyse WH adaptations of different eras.

Jacob I think is fine ("Heathcliff isn't white", no, but he's probably white-passing. Also, clearly we are diverging wildly from the story here, artistic license is well in play.

A few thoughts on the Fennell Wuthering Heights: it's certainly not a classic adaptation, and I kind of respect that. Not for everyone, but she has a vision. That said, I love Margo, but no, not for this, for so many reasons.

Oh wow, at first glance, the LFF lineup looks absolutely banging! I'm not gonna know how to pick, because I would like to see everything!.

I am really enjoying Long Story Short - a very sweet intergenerational family tale, spanning decades. Plus, a good length to watch on lunches.

Why did it take me so long to watch Pig?! Brilliant film. Like some improbable cross between Mandy and The Taste of Things - I'm serious. Part revenge thriller, part meditation on life, love and loss. An all-timer.
