I’ve done this on a treadmill - the ideas that pop in your head while exercising are often something you want to start building asap. Underrated workflow

The ability to simplify and built custom guides for ANYTHING is one of my favorite new powerups to come from LLMs. If you don’t understand something, you can build a tool to understand it in a way that works for you.

The mockup of the device was initially built with screenshots fed to Gemini 3 Pro. I switched to cursor and used the great browser feature to specify components and what changes I wanted made. Opus 4.5 handled the rest, fed it the docs and had it create the lessons etc

He can browse lessons that interactively show what buttons to press for various workflows, and I used ElevenLabs to generate audio syncing with each step, so he doesn’t have to look keep looking at his phone while learning it

I got my dad a teenage engineering EP-133 sampler for Christmas - he’s made music all his life and it’s a sweet piece of kit to play around with. It’s pretty intimidating to start with, so in ~1hr I built this to interactively walk him through using it https://t.co/Vh3zVgTL0k

yes things are changing fast, but also I see companies (even faang) way behind the frontier for no reason. you are guaranteed to lose if you fall behind. the no unforced-errors ai leader playbook: For your team: - use coding agents. give all engineers their pick of harnesses,

I've never felt this much behind as a programmer. The profession is being dramatically refactored as the bits contributed by the programmer are increasingly sparse and between. I have a sense that I could be 10X more powerful if I just properly string together what has become

Proof of craft - sharing the behind the scenes to differentiate will be more common via workflows and decisions beyond pure outputs. Interviews, portfolios, marketing campaigns, all heading this way. Great write up

Actually another star graduate has some of the best taste and vision, and also extremely high agency. This stuff matters way more than pure YOE or projects made 3 years ago or degrees etc

The best graduate from @gauntletai cohort (in my opinion) was the one with the highest agency. Intelligence was similar across the board, part of the gauntlet filter, but I don’t think it was any surprise the person who - started more than anyone else - shipped more, - who

Agency > Intelligence I had this intuitively wrong for decades, I think due to a pervasive cultural veneration of intelligence, various entertainment/media, obsession with IQ etc. Agency is significantly more powerful and significantly more scarce. Are you hiring for agency? Are

Working on an app that connects to my Mac through Tailscale and lets me control sessions I started there, while I’m out and about. The local env is too convenient but I’m wondering if moving to VMs running claude code that I can also control through my phone when I’m away is a

Still can’t believe all of this happened in the last 10 weeks: - became an AI engineer - grew a startup from 0 to 200k ARR in 4 weeks - worked w/ with some of the most talented, brilliant, & gritty humans I’ve ever met - got 5-9x faster at dev work - produced a few million

stop looking for a single "best" model. the landscape is fragmented. gpt 5.1 codex high, claude 4.5 sonnet (and opus), and gemini 3 pro are the current top tier, but they fail in totally different ways. if you're serious about vibe engineering, you need a strict rubric. here is
