It's officially official, "Drown" has surpassed 10k streams on Spotify, a major milestone that less than 1% of artists on the platform get to! I'm so thankful and grateful to you all. Now back to the lab for the next one! #CaseyRain #Drown #NewMusic

One of my favorite things about Jesse Johnson is that the brother wears his heart on his sleeve. In his music, in his interviews. His performances at Celebration have been phenomenal, and knowing how tough it was for him just makes me appreciate it even more π.
INNERview: Jesse Johnson laments how playing Paisley sent him in2 a depression and never wants 2 go back Jesse feels like we feel .it only reminds us of how it used 2 b + (Full Show) #PaisleyPark #PRINCE #PRINCE4EVER via @funkatopia

I ain't mad at it! I just hope the writing doesn't stray too far from the source material. It was stated at Celebration that the Estate had them pull it back a bit from a version of the script that was a bit too out there for their liking.
Meet the stars of Purple Rain β the new musical stage adaptation of Prince's legendary Academy Award-winning film.

The funk lick he did that comes in on Smooth Criminal - right after the extended breakdown interpretative dance part in the video - is easily in my Top 5 licks of all time. Razor sharp precision and absolutely stone cold.
π how MJ insist that David Williams step up, the man whose signature guitar licks make DSTYGE so special! The sickest licks and riffs on MJ's OTW are by the late David Williams, and MJ was just as addicted to them as we areπ

"Got with Janet then with Guy, now with Michael cuz it ain't hard to JAM!".
Heavy D did a song with Michael Jackson & Janet Jackson. Heavy D produced a song for Nas & Jay-Z. Heavy D had hits in 1987-88 & in 1994. Heavy D influenced some rappers as well. Go listen to the track βBig Daddyβ. Dude career was amazing. ππ½ππ½ππΏ.

RT @dailykatebushmx: 1988, John Hughes asked #KateBush to write a song for Sheβs Having a Baby. Moved by a key scene, she wrote This Womanββ¦.

No, I don't think so. The concept of regions at least as it relates to inspirational creative input inherently means less in a digital world in comparison to a time where a higher proportion of what was available had geographic constraints. Forcing it would be a facsimile.
