@narindertweets
Narinder, what you said was abhorrent and thoroughly offensive. You wouldn't dream of saying those things about another nation. Have a think about that – and recognise that those who find what you're saying offensive are not all racists and bigots.
@CarverEmily
Abhorrent? I would say the same about any country that waves flags about! It doesn't matter where you were born! We are citizens of the world ! The St George's flag is aligned (unfortunately) with bigots. Whether you like it or not. Britain is better than that.

And conveniently overlooking all the sailors who gave their lives suppressing and extinguishing slavery across the globe on behalf of the British Empire.

After YEARS of indigenous folk begging for an end to slavery. You don't get a pat on the back for putting out the fire you started. If you can't understand that, then we fail to become the great nation we could be.

Well said Emily. It is time she was challenged. Love your Saturday night show, the 4 of you make politics entertaining. 😊👍

Don't know why

entertains her really, when there are so many others that can offer a different view without spouting the same bile every time. She has nothing to add to any debate.

Narinder's original home land India, (I have lived there ) is a very racist nation. There are all sorts of hatreds towards lower castes and between states too. Also towards westerners who are barely tolerated..

Well said Emily. I think Narinder here is saying these things to get herself attention. Unfortunately for her I don’t think she realises how unpopular she is making herself.
