What is often lacking in the public debate is a sense for non-linear effects:.1. a crash at 160 km/h is not twice as bad as at 80km/h #Tempolimit .2. for ICUs, 60% vaccination is not twice as good as 30%, it makes no difference below ~80%.Physics might help sometimes…🤓.

SPINT2, an inhibitor of TMPRSS2, is an intriguing factor related to #SARSCoV2 infectivity in various tissues. Moreover, SPINT2 is deregulated in several #COVID19 comorbid diseases. Check our preprint in collaboration with the @BoulantLab as part of @TRR179!
SPINT2 controls SARS-CoV-2 viral infection and is associated to disease severity #bioRxiv.
