We have been served notice to leave….with the council choosing to not renew our lease and instead go out to tender 😢

So gutted for Mel & Dan and all the team @SecretGardenCF - they’ve created a magical place there and done so much for the community 😢

We have been informed that the current tenants/ operators wish to stay & renew their lease but the council have refused to do this & will instead put it out to tender. If you think this is the wrong approach, please write to your local councillors, Huw Thomas & Jo Stevens MP

I can’t think of another business in Cardiff that has done so much for one of the city’s (most valuable) public assets… an ethos and effort like this should be rewarded, not insulted! @cardiffcouncil
