Had a blast playing at the 2025 PG WWBA Freshman World Championship a few weekends ago with Team Elite Liberty. I was proud of how we battled through adversity the whole weekend against great competition. I saw personal improvement in my swing simplicity and ability to see LHP's.

Johnny Rouse (‘28, NY) rounds out his standout game w/ this 3B into LCF. Ton of bat speed w/ natural lift. Gets out of the box quick and showed a ton of feel for the barrel in leadoff spot. #WWBAWorlds @PGMidAtlantic

Jesse Schein (‘29, NY) gets this thru the left side for an RBI. Stays in sync w/ a sl DH bat plane. Direct hand path. Solid bat speed and feel to get ball in play. #WWBAWorlds @PGMidAtlantic

Andres Carson (‘28, NY) drives this into PS LF for a pair of RBI. Keeps hands tight and gets the barrel out front well w/ strong hands and a flat bat plane. Rotates thru well to impact w/ jump off barrel. #WWBAWorlds @PGMidAtlantic

Sometimes it’s not about covering the entire zone is about picking a non-negotiable spot where if he misses there, you're not getting beat. Taking this approach into at-bats and “placing bets” is more important than trying to cover everything or “see it and hit it”

A lot of times, we think the solution is so complex, but in reality, it's a lot more simple than we think. It's about doing less but better with less tension, less effort. Instead of trying to do more and match more and get more in depth, simplify, get focused on seeing it

Such different hitters but also so many similarities in the swing. From launch to point of contact. Backside and barrel turned (down) into the hitting zone.
