Hi all! Sorry for my recent absence here. Reason: I've joined Threads' Content Creator Program, so most of my focus has gone to posting there (same handle). I only have time for so many platforms. *Totally get it* if Threads isn't your thing, but that's where I'm spending most

Context: yes, the Creator Program means I get paid to post on Threads – but to be honest, I was already looking for a "primary" microblogging home, since posting/replying on 3 sites is a lot. Threads also has the most robust content tools for what I'm looking to do right now

I figured I owed @Captain2Phones a response after he called me out last week for having maybe lost my mind for wanting to Bring Back @BlackBerry phones… I swear there actually is method to my madness and I’m not totally 🤪 Read it and let me know! https://t.co/bYnIEkQAUz

Finally got around to snapping some shots of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. The stainless steel is beautiful and goes a long way toward hiding the odd circle-on-a-squircle design, and the re-return of the physical bezel is also welcome. More early thoughts on IG at @theMrMobile,

Adding to a fairly long list of “FINALLY”s today: Samsung’s most portable smartphone now supports DeX! Haven’t gotten the Flip7 fully running on the NexDock review unit yet, but at least wireless functionality seems to be present. DeXheads, rejoice! #GalaxyUnpacked

(^ That one costs 💰 $1099, BTW) If that's too rich for your blood, Samsung's finally bringing foldables downrange with the $899 Flip 7 FE. Basically a Flip 6 repowered with Exynos and a few minor tweaks, for $899. (Motorola still has 'em beat on price with the $699 Razr, but

On the other side of the foldable divide: the Galaxy Flip7 gets Samsung closer to competitive with Razr: 🔋 4300 mAh battery 📏 Thinner & lighter (13.7mm, 188g) 🌈 Fun colors are back (again!) 📺 6.9" inner w/waterdrop crease 🖥️ 4.1" cover (run any app you want, but still takes

I've been waiting for Samsung to get back to competitive foldables for years ... and the Galaxy Fold 7 might finally get us there. 𐄷Thinner/lighter (215g, 8.9mm) 🌈Fun colors are back! 📺Wider screens inside & out 💧Waterdrop crease 📸200MP camera 🤘Rebuilt hinge w/titanium

Ups and downs following an afternoon with the Unihertz Titan 2: ✅ Sturdy build with chunky, satisfying key travel & feedback ✅ $269 on Kickstarter at presstime ✅ Where else you gonna find an Android QWERTY (outside of a Clicks case)? ❌ Keyboard layout just as infuriatingly

I wonder if the Touch Bar would have done better had it not been associated with the keyboard from hell. I do miss it sometimes.

A great example of why the Touch Bar was so good: when tapping the brightness control, you could change the built-in display or your connected monitor (Studio Display in this case). I will never forgive them for getting rid of it.

Deeply annoying thing about @instagram message notifications on Wear OS: If you have multiple IG accounts, the text string at the top tells you which of YOUR accounts the message came to — NOT the sender. The sender is instead identified by a tiny version of their profile pic,

And then there's the cans! Alongside the polarizing @nothing Phone (3), the $299 Headphone (1) seems tamer by comparison. Still, the design is striking. I'm especially impressed by the thoughtful controls, solid battery life (so far) and on-ear comfort. (The aluminum cups do

The $799 @nothing Phone 3 is the company's biggest bet on boldness yet. With the Glyph Matrix, it replaces the old disco lights with a full-on circular display, and it turns the specs up to flagship levels with quad 50MP cameras, silicon carbon and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Review

It's basically the same Razr as last year, so why even bother reviewing it? 1) It's somehow even cheaper, bringing foldables to even more people 2) It's the perfect phone for a "re-tox" following my Light Phone experiment 3) I got to do it in Paris, thanks to VivaTech Premiere
