Outlaw country legend Billly Joe Shaver is being honored with a bronze statue of the former Capricorn artist in his hometown of Corsicana, Texas, the Waco Tribune-Herald reported. Shaver recorded two albums on the Capricorn Records label — "When I Get My Wings" and "Gypsy Boy."

Happy birthday, Elvin Bishop! From 1974 to 1978, he released five studio albums and one live album on the Capricorn Records label. His highest charting song, "Fooled Around and Fell in Love," is from his 1975 album "Struttin' My Stuff" and hit No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
