When I was writing this I went down a rabbit hole of private equity buying (and lowering the quality of) fast food outlets like Tim Horton's, Subway, Quizno's. Breyer's technically not being "ice cream" anymore. I couldn't work it in but food is increasingly engineered.
Opinion: Not only is food more expensive, it is also becoming ultraprocessed garbage

This was my first piece of 2025, which was going to be the cover of my Anaïs-oriented body horror comic BODY. DOUBLE. I never ended up putting out said deluxe edition, but I now have BIGGER plans for its rerelease, as well for my Anaïs comics, in general 😎😎😎
