Today is the 34th anniversary on the successful negotiation of the #MontrealProtocol that saved the #ozonelayer. I was part of the Canada's team in Montreal September 1987. We CAN take global action on #climate. We proved it for ozone. #WorldOzoneDay #GPC #cndpoli

Tomorrow, 20 February, the Sun will rise again at 80N. As it stands at the moment, this will be the first time in the 16 year history of CANDAC-PEARL that we will not host a team for the ACE/OSIRIS Sunrise validation campaign. We will be operating some instruments remotely.

Night-time instruments have been operating for a couple of weeks now. Direct sunlight measurements are finished, but scattered light measurements will continue for some days.
