the @Dawoodi_Bohras of #London teamed up with @CanLager for a community clean-up around Northolt. 30 volunteers collected 50+ bags of rubbish and several heavy items from local streets and the canal towpath — making a visible impact on the environment. #cleanuptime #Community

We call it litter picking sans frontieres / cross-border cooperation when we venture into neighbouring boroughs to help with cleanups. This morning Cathy joined friends from #Twickenham & #Cranford in #Feltham where we removed this lot from the #RiverCrane at #BrazilMillWoods.

V productive session at #SudburyHill this morning with our friends @GroveFarmEaling. 12 of us cleared this lot from the park and surrounding area. We found a flytip with ID & reported the suspect; reported dumped bike to @EalingCouncil & hope #Voi will bear ££ of collection.

Another group of young members of the Sikh community who have been conducting fortnightly litter picks in Norwood Green with @CanLager since July 2021 are the pupils of #KhalsaPrimarySchool. Grateful thanks to them.
Well done to them. We need more community spirit like this.

And if residents have evidence of who is responsible for the flytipping they should Report a FlytipPER on @CleanStreetsApp. Their report will go to the @EalingCouncil enforcement team for investigation.
