The Space Radiation Analysis Group @NASA_Johnson monitors space radiation environment to ensure astronaut safety. A nice byproduct is that they can alert us to even small Coronal Mass Ejections that can lead to beautiful aurora. P.S. They’re just as breathtaking as I expected!
