Lots of ongoing post-#ElectionDay work by the office of the @LACountyRRCC and all #ElectionOfficials where November 4th #elections were held. @CaltechLCSSP Co-Director @rmichaelalvarez has been in the field observing the process this week with students & LCSSP team.
Election Day has passed, but our office is still hard at work. #LACounty has a large voting population with many voters returning their ballots on Election Day. Vote by Mail ballots postmarked by Election Day require the same care as those received prior to Nov. 4.

California voters passed a new congressional map in Prop 50. Which districts change for the 2026 elections? I talked with @rmichaelalvarez about the 5 districts in the new map that turn GOP seats into Dem seats.

Here’s a first. I had a voter come over and thank me for our poll watching work. He said that it made him feel more confident in the election process.
