For years, I watched Josh Hader from the sidelines, as a player. As a fellow low-slot lefty, I tried to learn from him. The drift. The coil. I rode this to 98+ mph before 3 career-ending hip surgeries. Then in 2022, he was struggling. Every writer was seemingly piling on.

Pick a school you want to go to and will play at. When the social media post wears off after a few days, everything is forgotten about anyway and then the real work begins. Too many players worried about what other people think if they aren’t going D1.
