The Bourne Rivulet has flowed all through summer which is a testament to how much rain we had last winter to refill the aquifers. Some shots of the river where we completed some bank repairs 3-4 years back, which have allowed the margins to grow up.

Sometimes it's easier to work in tandem to get the job done!

0ur River Og river and floodplain restoration project. We were recently joined by Tim Sykes, a winterbourne expert from the Environment Agency & Rob Collier (Nottingham University), who is collecting samples as part of his PhD study on winterbourne restoration & invertebrates.

Great to be out on a pre-emptive early morning site walkover of the River Derwent in Cumbria. Lots of fly life about even at 8am! this is one our favourite times of the year when life abounds on our rivers!
