Not just IG. Facebook's been heavily indexing community (groups) content. Past couple monts they've added numerous xml sitemaps full of these urls (see their robots.txt).

Interestly they started testing a sitemap for GMaps search results too. They might not be linking solely business profiles, but to their own search results too. Idk, just a hunch
When AI Mode cites your business, there’s a great chance Google is only linking to your Google Business Profile, not your homepage or any other page on your site. Sorry about that shiny website you built… and your analytics 😅

Random thought:. The URL removal tool in Google Search Console is probably a demonstration of a lazy twiddler working in its Superroot system. There is leaked Twiddler documentation that explicitly states a Hide(. ) twiddler function. Examples are DMCA takedowns.

Curious, this page has a noindex tag but it is indexed. It's showing the classic signs of a robots.txt disallow yet it's perfectly crawlable. Am I missing something?
