For @jeansforgenes week the whole school learnt about inheritance, DNA and how we are all similar and different and why. Did you know we share 50% of our DNA with bananas?

P4-6 took part in the 'Get Set for Positive Energy' workshop yesterday with @TeamGB & @ParalympicsGB 🇬🇧⚡️ Stephen Clegg made a special appearance to help deliver an exciting workshop on the importance of savign energy with @BritishGas A great experience for our pupils! 👏🏼

P4 to P6 took part in ‘Get Set for Positive Energy’ today to think about how we can drive positive change for a greener future. Some brilliant ideas for new green energy-saving habits. Big thanks to British Gas and Team GB!

Primary 3 had a great time visiting @BlairDrummondSP last week. Now we are busy writing about Sea Lions!

To finish off athletics this month we had some brilliant relay races across the school. Great teamwork, communication and passing on display! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️

P1 were beekeepers today! We learned that bees communicate through smoke, and so beekeepers use a smoker to confuse and calm bees so they can inspect their hives without getting stung by upset bees! Cool!! 🐝

Our P7s had an amazing visit to the City Chambers! 🏛️ They met the @LordProvostGCC, shared stories from their Valencia trip 🇪🇸, and learned fascinating facts about Glasgow’s history. What a day! 🙌

Celebrating all this year’s Spanish Stars with a wee fiesta 🪅 outside. Big thanks to our P6 and P7 helpers for leading Spanish colour games under the parachute! 🌈 🌟

Our winning house had a blast celebrating their victory with a day at the Science Centre! Hands on experiments, fun exhibits, and even a 3D screening of Animal Kingdom at the IMAX! A well-deserved reward for their hard work and team spirit! 💙
