For the New Brunswick friends: A real photo postcard circa 1905-1918 of Bayview Cemetery, Hatfield Point, New Brunswick. I haven't been there myself but from what I can see online the entrance sign/gate is still the same. 👍

Some of you may remember this photo from last year. For newer followers: One of my favourite fall shots. Wishing you all a good weekend. 🍂🍁

From a few autumns ago: The Blue Church Cemetery in Prescott, Ontario. The sky and church (in the background) were competing that day for who could give off the best colour of blue. It was a tie.

1906 postcard of St. Thomas Anglican Church (Old St. Thomas Church), St. Thomas, ON. My favourite part of this card is not the people in the cemetery, but the zinc ("White Bronze") marker at the left of the image making a special appearance.

I love this c.1910 postcard of the Don Valley in Toronto because if you look closely, at the middle left of the image, that's the Necropolis across the river saying "Remember...one day..."

@CaCemeteryHist Out for a drive couple weeks ago, saw this cemetery tucked in the forest, had to go in for a wander around, was such a pretty cemetery

@CaCemeteryHist Visited the family grave this morning to find a line of chestnuts left by other family members. Gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling in the autumn air.

The crisp air, the colours, the crunching of leaves under foot, and the past that has left a glimpse of itself behind - just some of the reasons I visit cemeteries in the fall.

Real photo postcard showing a plethora of both gravestones and trees in Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe, Ontario circa 1914. It's still quite a place to visit and spend much of a day in. (Source: Personal collection)

Holy Cross Cemetery in Powell River, BC. This was one of the most beautiful cemeteries we’ve ever visited. A peaceful place with picturesque scenery & beautiful shrines for loved ones. #cemetery #cemeterywandering #paranormal #hauntedhistory #ghosts

It was an honour to restore monuments with Dr. Bruce Warwick at the Josiah Henson Museum of African Canadian History. Across the road is the British American Institute Cemetery, come take a look! #thursdayvibes #ckont
