Good news finally for the physical and mental well-being of the players, especially those at clubs seeking promotion. Good luck to those teams. Shame it doesn't include @FC_Clacton after having our promotion push disregarded after being forced to play two games in two evenings.
The FA has granted extensions to the season for leagues at Step 5 & 6: ๐นTue 25 April for Step 5 clubs potentially involved in promotion/relegation ๐นMon 1 May for Step 5 clubs not involved in promotion/relegation ๐นMon 1 May for Step 6 ๐นMon 8 May for Step 6 playoffs

Not many teams get applauded off for losing 5-1, but a depleted @FC_Clacton, playing their second game in just over 26 hours, gave it their all tonight. Inevitably on a heavy pitch they came up short, but hats off for trying and fulfilling this @EssexSenior fixture. #ESL

Cannot get over how many clubs are being screwed by having to cram games in, all because the @FA refuse to allow the end of the season to move. How is the integrity of competition maintained if results are so clearly influenced by fixture schedule and not quality on the pitch?
