(2) Among people with CVD, females were less likely to achieve target cholesterol levels compared to males. These inequalities were present across all ethnic groups and by different levels of socioeconomic deprivation… #healthinequality

(1) Among people with cardiovascular disease (CVD), females were less likely than males to have a recent prescription for a lipid lowering therapy (LLT). Around 200,000 females with CVD had a record of high cholesterol and no recent LLT prescription.
