Shouts to my guy Mike, who’s been high on Harper all of last season. Creighton has one more roster spot available, now at 14 — likely to be filled with a big. A lot of interesting lineup combinations for Mac heading into next year.
Blake Harper is one of the best freshmen in the country that nobody talks about. Willed Howard to OT. 35 points (7/14 FG, 20/22 FT) in a loss to Hampton. Three double-doubles on the season, including a 30-point triple double. Savvy, skilled lefty who thrives around the rim.

Huss has done a wonderful job at High Point — Creighton getting him back on staff as sort of the ‘head coach in waiting’ before another high major snatched him is a wonderful move. Mac will rest easy once he’s done, knowing the program is in good hands.
BREAKING: High Point coach Alan Huss is finalizing a deal to re-join Greg McDermott’s Creighton staff as the coach-in-waiting, sources told @TheFieldOf68. McDermott, 60, hasn’t put an exact timeline on his retirement, but sources said it’ll likely be in the next two seasons

Wow. This one is kind of a stunner — leaves for some interesting decisions for the staff as far as PT. Dix averaged 14.4 ppg last year for Iowa. The Bluejays have now picked up two of the top three scorers from the Iowa Hawkeyes, who went 7-13 in Big Ten play last season.
Iowa transfer Josh Dix has committed to Creighton, per his IG page. A perfect fit in Omaha.
