Today the CT Commuter Rail Council transitions to the Connecticut Public Transportation Council and adds bus commuting to our charge. This transition will take time. Many things to work through; new bus members, website, social media, logo, dual advocacy, etc. We’ll get there.

Many have asked about specific trains or counts. We are still waiting for CDOT to analyze the budget and decide where they will add service. One common theme we hear from commuters is that people can get west in the morning but can’t get east easy enough on the way home.

A huge thank you to @SenatorCohenCT and the Transportation Committee for their advocacy on behalf of the commuters of the Shoreline East. Included in the biennial budget in FY27 is $4 million for additional service on the SLE. This is in addition to the $5 million from last year!
