In what has been a bleak Braves season this helps a little.

I was lucky enough to be able to give some tickets to Murph as well. It was my sincere pleasure to give him tickets from his first game as an outfielder, his 1500th hit, his final game as a Phillie, and his final big league game in Colorado.

The fact that Murph’s is closing in about 10 days and neither the @Braves nor @BatteryATL seem to have any interest in finding a spot for the restaurant speaks volumes to me. Come on Braves, find a home for Murph’s, maybe in one of those buildings you bought instead of a bullpen.

My sincere condolences to all of you who lost your childhood hero today.

As a @Braves fan I’ve seen less talented Braves teams, I’ve seen worse Braves teams, but I’ve never, ever, seen such a rudderless, apathetic & impossible to watch Braves team. At this point I’d rather watch the Rockies busting their collective asses to be more than they are.

15 IP, 1.20 ERA, 0.80 WHIP at AAA. What in the hell are we waiting for? If he comes up and gets bombed, then at least we know then he can’t help us and we can move on and create room for younger arms. But if he CAN help us…
